Sharing is a web UI feature. There is no
jstm share command. What can be shared
The invitation flow
The link is tied to that email address and expires after 7 days. There is no never-expires option. The preview step means the recipient sees who invited them, which workspace, and what the object is, before committing to anything. If the recipient is already a member of the workspace, there is nothing to accept and they go straight to the object. What accepting grants
That is deliberate: sharing is designed to bring someone into the work, not to hand out a read-only window. But it means a share is a membership decision, so treat it as one. To give someone genuinely narrow access, add them to a workspace that holds only what they should see.Who can share
You must be a member of the workspace that owns the object.
Objects owned by a personal workspace can’t be shared at all. Move them to a team workspace first with
jstm agent move.
Resending and revoking
Resend sends the invitation email again and resets the 7-day expiry. Revoke invalidates the link. An unaccepted share stops working immediately. Revoking does not remove someone who already accepted. To remove their access:Sharing versus visibility
